Your guide will meet you there or at the closest possible meeting point to your accomodation. The tour departs from Madrid city center, but can also be arranged from other locations including the airport for an additional cost
El Escorial
After being picked up at your hotel or accommodation in Madrid, we’ll travel comfortably toward Segovia. On the way, you’ll pass the monumental Valley of the Fallen, a striking site set against the rugged Sierra de Guadarrama mountains, which can be admired from the vehicle. Our first stop is the Royal Monastery of El Escorial, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Spain’s most iconic historical landmarks. Built by King Philip II, it served as a royal palace, monastery, and mausoleum — home to the tombs of many Spanish kings. You’ll have time to explore the impressive architecture, admire the intricate details, and take memorable photos
La Granja de San Ildefonso
Continue your private tour into the next enchanting stop: La Granja de San Ildefonso, located very close to Segovia. This magnificent royal palace, often called Spain’s Versailles, is surrounded by elegant gardens and ornate fountains. You’ll have some time to stroll around the exterior and take photos
Segovian Lunch
